The days of Amarnath Yatra are wheels which runs economy of Kashmir, tourist are pride of kashmiri awam. from driver to tea seller to hotel owner everyone is in full mood of seasonal earnings . baba barfani has been biggest factor of development for north west part of indian side of kashmir .
August 2019 year was no new to valley,
same zeal of tourist as well as local businessman's to begin the most
sacrosanct yatra of indian culture, and the news broke
"J&K
government asks tourists, amarnath yatris to 'return as soon as possible'
because of specific terror threat to pilgrimage"-
and after that
everything changed, yatra was postponed, the same dal lake which used to be
flooded with floating hotels and boats is now completely silent. Devoid of any
human cry or laugh.No one had any idea that what is happening . What they could
only sense is uncertainty , a kind of forced peace, anxiety among everyone and
next thing that catches eyes of people is hundreds of trucks of army convoy
passing through cities and villages of kashmir. india today magazine reports,
"another 38000 troops rushed to kashmir valley week after 10000 were deployed"
Back in the nation’s capital, on Lok Kalyan Marg road, journalist and reporters saw Union Law minister Ravi Shankar
Prasad’s convoy entering into highly Secured compounds of Prime Minister’s
residence at early as 8:30 AM .
Just three months had passed When
World saw 2 nuclear powered States
Combating In air, bringing down each others Fighter aircraft and even catching one of pilot Alive. It was
most close that india and Pakistan got to war after 2002 and 2008, even then
also no one saw airforce is being used. Even in those difficult times no one

unknown. And just After news flashed on every news channel,

The Rajyasabha , known to be silent house, that day voices of shouting,yelling were coming from walls of upper house the moment union Home Minister proposed.
“J&K reorganization bill 2019”.
And within next 36 hours bill got converted into act and the erstwhile state of jammu and Kashmir became union territory of jammu and Kashmir and ladakh got another union territory .

Its been year, the union territory of J&K has no access to most fundamental thing in 21st century, the
internet connectivity. The year not only marked the success of armed forces to
reduce fatalities but it also has marked the failure of central government
to bring harmony in valley . union territory has lost half million(500000) jobs
since last august.
Although administration has and is trying
to create an ambience for local governments to sustain but bureaucratic hurdles
in releasing funds to local governments and recent kilings of panchyat leaders
will certainly derail that process, top mainstream political leadership still
under detention is proving to be wrong strategy . The derailment of bringing
normalcy will not only hamper indias national security but also it will erode faith
of people of Kashmir in republic and that could be fertile ground for militancy
as we have seen in 1990s.
Whether we like it or not Kashmir has been
and will be central issue of indias foreign policy and somehow it portrays our hypocrisy
of dealing with our own people. India proudly calls itself biggest democracy on
face of this planet but refrains oneself from taking moral stands . even though
realism drives todays political relations but ethics, values, principles do
have central role to play in community living.
Life has been hard to people of valley,
neither do they have economic capacity to sustain nor do they have Political
power to Influence. Most of the time national capital indicates every
administrative decisions which taking into consideration current unprecedented Times is necessary but can not be permanent . We don’t know When We Will see beautiful
boats And smiling Faces again in dal lake? When We will see girls going to
school ,markets of valley flooding with customers. Hope is not bad thing
neither dreams, we see dreams because somethings is absent in our present and
we want it in our future. And people of jammu and Kashmir shall see only one
dream of
“ kashmiriyat, Jhamuriyat,insaniyat”
