NOT THE LAST HOPE.....
Naya Daur in political campaigning
Election of Delhi assembly had not remained just another election of small national capital territory ,8 former chief ministers ,dozen of central minister including THE SUPREME LEADER, 5 incumbent chief ministers and many more .this shows that Delhi's election was certainly something more than that . venomous campaigning from union ministers and slogans like 'goli maron salonko' has lead to concern of safety and security of people of Delhi but who really cares , when judgements are being given by executive in front of funded crowed and judiciary did not give a damn then it does not take great brain to understand what a messy election it would have been for Delhi and it is evident in the fact that what happened afterwards in capital of "WORLDS LARGEST DEMOCRACY" is not only unprecedented but well crafted by the people who trade in votes and their currency is fear. What is more frustrating is the legitimacy these people gain from top leadership and the way democratisation of opinions is happening through the social media it is something we cannot afford to ignore.
India's GDP (way of calculating economic growth )in fourth quarter of last year stood at 4.5%(December 2019), in third quarter it was 4.7% (june 2019)and in second quarter it stood at 5%(april 2019)(by the way when Dr. Manmohan Singh left office it was 7 percent ) our common sense would tell us that the union finance minister and her deputy has to work round the clock to reverse this trend but NO our honourable minister of state of finance ,the very young and dashing Mr.Anurag Thakur was asking people to shoot the "GADDAR" no surprise why SUPREME LEADER did not sent him back to BCCI instead the chota bheem (jai shah) is now in BCCI .Not only Mr.Thakur but our own home minister has successfully found a way to electrify whole nation and how by pressing the button of EVM. “When you press the button on February 8, do so with such anger that its current is felt at Shaheen Bagh.”
now I hope we will achieve our target of 100% electrification way easily than our supreme leader might have thought of.
Cleaning Off By Jhadu
we can not really articulate the whole election while sitting in another state because we just can't grasp what games were being played on ground , on the face response of JAI HANUMAN to BJP' s JAI SRIRAM would certainly served the aam admi partys agenda of not letting the narrative shift from development to nonassembly issues like CAA and shaheen bagh or i would love to prefer it from KAAM to RAM . Idealism demands an explanation from arvind kejriwal about shaheen bagh, not only his silence on the whole issue was tactical but his not going to shaheen bagh raises some issues on kind of leadership aam admi party is encouraging. but i believe idealism comes from innocence and innocence from ignorance and the first thing politics does is, it kills innocence and what remains is realpolitik and believe me idealism kills.
THE TOWNHALLS -
another very important thing to do in politics is media management and though BJP enjoys some advantages being biggest national party but after spending half decade in politics AAP has learned the skill of manufacturing prime times and creating and propagating the news to its electorate.news media is vulture or you may call it parasite ,first it will held you high and next moment it will throw you under the bus and afterwards you will be their dinner so yes they are merciless and will not spare an opportunity to raise their TRP .Indian journalism don't follow values what it follows is price and election are feast so they are waiting for interviews of leaders so what AAP did right is they did not went to their studios to give interviews rather they invited media on an open platform where the audience would certainly going to be supporter of AAP. In these kind of audience(bheed) it becomes almost impossible for any journalist to rub the leader on wrong side and how difficult it is even Arnab did not interviewed Mr. Kejriwal neither Anjana did. sensationalism of journalist gets dissolved in such a crowd so for people like Goswami or Anjama Om Kashyap who are servants of their habits of doing masala news becomes impossible to do so.
another factor of AAP campaigning was Indian political action committee or we recognise it by diplomat turned political activist Prashant Kishor , we should not overestimate the influence such organisation exert. but in times of managerial revolution , presentation has become part and parcel of any activity so even underestimating him will lead us to nothing and whatever the significance is but we cant argue against his track record. but some says that he takes the side of winners and ultimately enjoys the fruits.
The basic of campaigning is still remains the same, door-to-door and we can not forget that team of volunteers in aam admi party is not only strong but is as influential as it can be. lawyers, architectures, college students, retired army and civil services officers, veteran journalist and small shop owners so the very versatile nature of volunteers tells us the extent to which AAP has managed to percolate.
WHERE ARE WE HEADING
Of all wrong that AAP might be doing but they deserve the praise for bringing Education,Health ,Water to forefront of political debate which was never been a case but development politics is no alternative to Ideological politics , the only alternative to ideological politics is rational thinking and questioning and this intellectual enrichment has to go hand in hand with material empowerment .
According to Suhas Palshikar sir BJP might have lost the electoral game in delhi but they kept the narrative and the percentage of certainly proves the point that it is loss of numbers and not of narrative and as far as delhi's voters are concerned ,they are mix of whole of india , metropolis in real sense ,you will find good number of every ethnicity in nations capital so the division do not work here what works is addition and narrative of unity and common cause and aspirations because these are the peoples who have migrated from all states of india in quest of better life condition so they know whom to vote But the continuing communal narrative will have a great impact in coming elections of Bihar and Bengal for obvious reasons and renewed focus of BJP in Bengal where another authoritarian chief minister is enjoying power .2019 general election has certainly created alarming situation for Mamta didi because of great entry of BJP in Bengal by winning 18 seats and BJP is throwing every organisational skill at it disposal to gain ground in Bengal and to create long lasting cadre base in rural Bengal, and that would be the election to watch and learn..
Though BJP has normalised the communal speeches via their central leadership but as member of upper house Mr.Manoj Jha sir says every narrative has life span ,no narrative is immortal. But the alarming thing is social media is sustaining this narrative and news media is keeping it open for debate for larger part of time.Hoping that politics will change for good is good sign that system is not rigged everything is not finished and as Harry Fosdick once said "democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary men/women" so hope is not bad thing to have ,Everything changes ,Sometimes for good ,Sometimes for bad but change is eternal and hope is real but remember narrative is still alive so its not the last last hope,,,
